Well guys, I added a blog/article section to my website!

The whole purpose is to help increase my website's reach. Currently, the site barely receives any traffic, aside from my LinkedIn page. I plan to write about technology and music.

Posting schedule-wise, I'm aiming for 1-2 articles a week.

Anyway, these past few months I've been listening to a ton of Russian music (of course, avoiding anything "Z" related). I watched a very interesting video in Russian about Russian bands influenced by Britpop. The video opened up a lot of discoveries for me, as I found a band I really, really like called Свинцовый Туман (Lead Fog). My favorite songs by them are "Я знаю" (I Know) and "далеко" (Far Away).

What I find interesting about "Far Away" is how much it reminds me of an obscure Creation Records band called Adorable, especially their song "Homeboy." "Far Away" has a more laid-back vibe while capturing the same essence. However, the chances of this being plagiarism are incredibly slim since "Homeboy" came out before "Far Away" and Adorable is an obscure band.

My plan for the new year is to deep dive into more music by Russian artists.
